Casey Neistat 2 year baby comes to an end

Beme Casey’s Vine alternative which was bought by CNN has been disolved with it’s workers being taken on by CNN.

What was Beme?

For those of you who don’t know, Beme is a video sharing app with its main hook being that recorded videos are automatically published, without the user being able to preview them first .

Why is it being shut down?

After interviews from co-founder Hacket and Neisat himself it seems that the relationship between them and CNN wasn’t working, with Neisat saying in an interview on buzzfeed “I don’t think they’re getting value from me”. He also posted a video to his own YouTube video on the closing.

So no more Beme?

Apparently CNN will hold on to the Beme YouTube channel and some of the projects that have already started work.

Have your say?!
